  “They may seem nice and polite when you talk to them in person, but make no mistake, they are crooks and they won't hesitate to lie directly to your face, give you excuses and fake apologies, then steal your money and dodge your phone calls and visits. Months ago, the owner, William Matthew Jones, charged me several hundred dollars for a new convertible top, which he said he'd install that weekend. After having to call him multiple times (no matter how many times he says he will call you, you will always have to be the one to call), we finally agreed to have the top installed on May 22nd. When I showed up that morning, the shop was closed and no one was there! I called and left messages, but Matthew Jones did not return my calls and I never saw him again. I returned to the shop later that day and found his brother, Anthony Jones. I asked for a refund and he offered to install the top that very day. I agreed. When I returned several hours later, I immediately noticed that the top on my car had not been replaced! He said, AFTER he took the top off my car, he opened the box his supplier sent and discovered that it only contained a window, not the whole top. I never saw the window or any proof that the Joneses had actually ordered a top for my car. I asked him to call his supplier and find out what happened to the rest of the top. Just to get rid of me, he promised that he would call me first thing the next morning. Of course, he never did. I'd show up during business hours and find the shop closed, occasionally bumping into other angry customers who were also trying to find the Jones brothers and get their money back. Their business # has been disconnected and they don't answer their cells when I call. They stole my money! Not sure if this business has always been shady or if it started going downhill after the Joneses' grandfather William Chavis died and they took over. Regardless, I recommend that you avoid Cape Fear Upholstery at all costs!”
